Continuing Tai Chi with Push Hands

Join Frankie Hart for a special Continuing Tai Chi Class in which we will have the opportunity to focus on the “second half” of the set and explore the 24 Forms in a more advanced way. In addition to practicing the set multiple times we will study the Tai Chi form of “Push Hands.”
What are the benefits of Push Hands? Many. Here are a few:
1. To understand and develop your sense of “softness” which is essential to the Tai Chi practice.
2. To master your sense of balance and rootedness.
3. To develop the depth of your sit and the length of your stretch.
4. To achieve a meditative state of mind even in the presence of another’s force.
Push Hands teach you about the Tai Chi forms and
the Tai Chi forms teach you about Push Hands.
This class is open to anyone who has completed the Tai Chi 24 Form Series at least one time.
