Tai Chi can perhaps best be thought of as a moving form of meditation.
It is a self-paced, noncompetitive, graceful form of exercise appropriate for all levels of fitness. Learning to do the forms correctly builds bone density as it increases muscle strength, flexibility and overall coordination. Practicing Tai Chi contributes to better standing, walking, and seated postures. Practitioners realize benefits including improved balance and posture, stress relief and ease of movement in life’s daily activities.
Experiencing Tai Chi as meditation in motion creates a calm and tranquil mind.
